Common Jezebel

Location: Kasaragod, Kerala, India (Dec 22nd 2010)

Common Jezebel: One of the common variety of butterflies found in India belonging to the family Pieridae. The characteristic feature of this variety is a dull upperside and a very colourful underside.

Absolutely loved this shot with a light-greenish touch of Communist pachcha out of focus in the background
