Blue Tiger

Common Jezebel: One of the common variety of butterflies found in India belonging to the family Pieridae. The characteristic feature of this variety is a dull upperside and a very colourful underside.

Crimson Rose: belonging to the family of Papilionidae. They are also called Swallowtail butterflies, as the adult butterflies have forked tail like wings just like the swallow bird

Danaid Eggfly

Danaid eggfly belong to the Nymphalidae family, with male species distinct from the polymorphic female.  White spots fringed in blue is a distinctive mark of male species.

Communist pachcha growing around my house is a hovering spot for many a variety of Butterflies.

Common Indian Crow

Common Crow: Very commonly found in the Malabar region of Kerala and other places in India, they belong to the Danainae subfamily of Nymphalidae or brush-footed family of butterflies.

Found these creatures fluttering around my house, perching on the roots of the uprooted weeds.
